A trav\u00e9s del centro de monitoreo se observ\u00f3 que el agresor se movilizaba en una camioneta F100. Se mont\u00f3 un operativo cerrojo y se dio aviso a control de La Adela, por si se intentaba fugar hacia el sur por la ruta 22. El r\u00e1pido accionar policial logr\u00f3 detener a Schiebelbein en su domicilio, sin oponer resistencia. Adem\u00e1s, se secuestr\u00f3 un arma calibre 22 que aparentemente seria la utilizada en el hecho.
